Unfortunately, the HealthShare Connection membership plan does not qualify as compliant coverage according to the Affordable Care Act. Specifically, this plan does not meet either the Tax A or Tax B requirements as put forth in the ACA and as regulated by the IRS.
HOW CAN I OFFER THIS PLAN TO EMPLOYEES & MEET
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS?
HealthShare Connection has partnered with National Health Benefits to add the compliance piece necessary for Applicable Large Employers according to the Affordable Care Act. At this time, a HealthShare Connection membership will be sold in conjunction with the National Health Mega Plan. The National Health Mega Plan offers an enhanced Minimum Essential Coverage type plan which includes preventative health and wellness coverage, Total Telehealth with MeMd, In-Office Visit Assistance, Lab Work, Out-Patient Testing, Vision and Dental Coverage. Membership options for the Mega Plan + HealthShare Connection Plan start at $290 per month.
